Surgery Physician

About the role

We are seeking a general surgeon to join our established group in the Memphis, TN area. The new surgeon will work out of one hospital and will have access to a DaVinci robot. The position offers a strong referral base from a large primary care network and excellent medical and critical care support. Call coverage is 1:5 with hospitalist admitting unless urgent, and hospitalists are in-house 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures using the DaVinci robot
• Collaborate with other experienced surgeons in the group
• Work closely with a large primary care network for referrals
• Provide medical and critical care support as needed
• Assist with call coverage at the hospital

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing
• Board certification in general surgery
• At least 3 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Passion for providing high-quality patient care

Skills

• Experience with the DaVinci robot
