Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for running an independent research program and clinical practice, mentoring faculty and trainee researchers, helping to develop collaborative programs within the Department and Institution, and growing the Department's research and grant portfolio.

Requirements

  • A strong leader to enrich, grow, and lead the research program of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
  • M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of accredited training program
  • B/C B/C E in Otolaryngology
  • Track record of robust research, publication and funding
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong academic and professional background, including:

  • Experience in leading and managing a research program
  • Proven ability to secure extramural funding
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor junior faculty and researchers

Pay

The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule
