Surg Technologist Cert II PRN

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Operating Room Technician is responsible for providing surgical scrub assistance for all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual experience.

Qualifications

• One year prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred. (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or Certificate, or Vocational School Graduate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
• Graduation from an accredited program for Surgical Technology or meets the requirements of the HB 643 Act.
• CORT within 30 days required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
