Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product, allowing technicians to carry all tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean, odor-free, and completed in less than two hours.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals to fill field technician roles, including a specialized position for a Cabinet Maker. No two jobs are the same, and most repairs require creativity while taking only about an hour. As a Surface Experts technician, you’ll educate and build trust with customers while performing unique repair services.

Field Technician

Nearly anyone can become a great Surface Experts repair technician! We are looking for someone who fits our culture of serving others, being a problem solver, and trusting the process. If you are curious, teachable, and eager, we can coach you to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform small surface repairs on a variety of materials (floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, appliances, furniture, etc.)
• Educate customers and build trust through professional interactions
• Work with pace and attention to detail
• Use creativity to solve unique repair challenges

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands (e.g., construction, cosmetology, manufacturing, art, or hobbies)
• Understanding of color and the ability to match color, texture, and finish
• Commitment to customer service
• Excellent work ethic
• Attention to detail

We will train and coach the technical skills necessary for restorations.

Cabinet Maker

We are looking for someone with experience in cabinetry or carpentry. Our work involves all sorts of cabinet materials, including plywood, particle board, melamine, thermo-foil, and solid wood. This role is detail-oriented, so fine woodworking or carpentry experience is highly valuable.
