Supervisor Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, the Supervisor coordinates and supervises laboratory activities within assigned areas in a manner designed to increase work efficiency and accuracy. Also, provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related Science Field and hold Medical Technologist credentials from a recognized credentialing agency.
• Minimum of five years previous experience in a medical laboratory with a hospital setting preferred.
