Responsibilities

• Manufacturing leadership experience, including direct management of personnel.
• Analyze and adjust customer kanban scheduling to align with production process and customer needs.
• Coordinate daily activities to identify and resolve production and quality delivery issues.
• Problem-solve to meet business efficiency goals.
• Assign and delegate work responsibilities to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery targets.
• Track and maintain employee training to meet business objectives.
• Verify shipments and ASNs for accuracy against customer requirements and shipment pull sheets.
• Monitor department KPIs (e.g., overtime, KPMs, downtime).
• Create work instructions based on cycle times to meet targeted production times.
• Operate equipment, fill in, and perform tasks to support production team members in achieving objectives.
• Maintain and monitor equipment performance.
• Analyze and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Work a flexible schedule, including overtime as required.
• Complete other projects and assignments as requested by management.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong math skills: ability to compute rates, ratios, and interpret bar graphs.
• Good language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals or technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and talk or hear.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision and distance vision.

Working Environment

• Work on the manufacturing floor 85% of the time for inventory or material validation.
• Use protective equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
• Work in heavy traffic areas, hot and humid conditions, and noisy environments where hearing protection is required.
