Supportive Services Supervisor
Job Summary
Catholic Charities of St. Louis, Queen of Peace Center is seeking a Supportive Services Supervisor. The supervisor will provide direct oversight of Community Support Specialists and Peer Support Specialists while maintaining an active caseload as a CSS. This role balances direct service delivery with frontline supervision to ensure high-quality, timely, and effective support services. The supervisor serves as a key operational link between supportive services staff, clinical teams, and community partners. Annual compensation begins at $60,000, with potential increases based on your experience and educational background.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervision and Leadership
- Provide direct supervision to Community Support Specialists and Peer Support Specialists within the QOPC treatment programs.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training assigned staff.
- Conduct ongoing performance management, including coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed.
- Monitor and support staff productivity, ensuring alignment with established expectations.
- Provide field-based supervision and support to staff delivering services in the community.
- Review documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Direct Service Delivery
- Maintain an active caseload and provide Community Support Services to clients.
- Deliver services in alignment with treatment goals and organizational standards.
- Participate in crisis response as needed.
- Operational and Program Coordination
- Coordinate closely with clinical teams to ensure integrated, client-centered care.
- Serve as a liaison with external partners to support continuity of care and service access.
- Support communication and collaboration across service lines.
- Productivity and Documentation Standards
- Maintain a minimum of 15 hours of billable service per week.
- Complete all documentation within 24 hours or one business day of service delivery.
- Oversee staff productivity, ensuring each team member meets a minimum of 25 hours of service per week.
- Ensure documentation meets organizational, regulatory, and payer requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license (Class E), personal vehicle, and current automobile liability insurance.
- Must own or lease a vehicle for use in transporting clients, with insurance coverage that permits client transport.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use for documentation and familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
- Prior experience providing community-based behavioral health services required; prior experience supervising or leading staff in a community-based setting preferred.
Pre-Employment Screening

The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
