Supportive Housing Specialist

Pioneer Human Services · Oak Harbor, WA · 1 mo ago
OTHR$21.79–$27.24/hrFull-time
We need to produce HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Must preserve substantive info. We need to parse the description. Key sections: - About the role: maybe the introductory paragraph about mission and who we are? The description includes "Who we are – Our Mission" etc. Could be considered About the role. - Responsibilities: the "What you'll do" bullet list. - Requirements: maybe "What you'll bring (Any Equivalent Combination...)" includes education, experience, credentials, driver's license, etc. - Qualifications: maybe overlapping with requirements; but we can separate: Requirements = mandatory items; Qualifications = preferred items (BA/BS, experience with state substance use residential treatment, diverse cultures). Skills: maybe list of skills like coaching, education, support, etc. But we can also put skills under Responsibilities? The instruction: Use headings for sections if content exists. We need to decide. We have Pay: compensation range given: $21.79-$27.24 hourly. So we need a Pay section. Benefits: list of benefits provided: Medical, Flexible spending, Dental, Vision, Additional Coverage after 60 days Life AD&D Disability, Other Benefits: Dependent Daycare Flexible Spending, Tuition assistance, Retirement plan, Employee recognition programs, Public transportation discount, Employee assistance program (EAP). Also note eligibility after 30 days full-time (minimum 30 hrs/week). So Benefits section. Schedule: Not explicitly mentioned. There's no schedule info (full-time? maybe implied 30+ hours/week). But we should not create Schedule unless posting actually states them. It does not state schedule explicitly, only mentions eligibility after 30 days of full-time employment (minimum of 30 hours/week). That implies full-time but not explicit schedule. Probably we should not create Schedule section because not explicitly stated. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Benefits is stated, Pay is stated. Schedule not stated, so omit. Now we need to produce HTML with

headings and
  • for lists,

for prose. We must not include markdown fences. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting, but we can reorganize into sections. We must not repeat job title as heading. The job title is Supportive Housing Specialist. Not to be used as heading. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings (none present). We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out EEO statements, drug-free company statements, etc. We need to keep the mission description, what we offer, compensation, benefits, what you'll do, what you'll bring (requirements), preferred qualifications, maybe skills. We need to decide which content goes under which heading. Let's extract: About the role / Who we are: - "If you are looking for employment with a purpose where you can help improve the daily lives of the members of your community, then consider a career with Pioneer Human Services! We are currently looking for a Supportive Housing Specialist with a passion for human services. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with an organization focused on a transformative path towards social change, creating pathways for rehabilitation, reintegration, and redemption." - "Who we are – Our Mission We empower justice-involved individuals to overcome adversity and reach their full potential. For over 60 years, we have proudly serviced our clients with professionalism and empathy. We are a nationally recognized non-profit with 35+ locations across Washington state that provided a chance for change to over 9,500 individuals in 2024." - "What We Offer At Pioneer, our employees are important. That’s why we offer a Total Rewards package that includes compensation and benefits to support employees' health, security, and balance." We could combine these into About the role section. Responsibilities: The "What you'll do" list (many bullet-like sentences). We'll convert each sentence into

  • . Requirements: The "What you'll bring (Any Equivalent Combination...)" includes: - AA degree in any related field (Human services, business administration, social work, public health, criminal justice, etc.) - 2 years’ experience working with individuals who experience behavioral health challenges - Must obtain and maintain an Agency Affiliated Counselor credential (Must apply within 7 days of employment. - Possess or be able to pursue/obtain Certified Peer Counselor Credential through WA DOH under 18.19 RCW. within 30 days of employment - May occasionally need to transport clients to appointments. Must have valid driver’s license, ability to meet the requirements of a Company Approved Driver including minimum personal vehicle insurance if driving a personal vehicle on Company business and acceptable driving record. We'll put these as list items. Qualifications (preferred): "Preferably you'll bring BA/BS Degree in any related field (Human services, business administration, social work, public health, criminal justice, etc.) Experience with state substance use residential treatment facility services. Experience working with people from diverse cultures." We'll put these as list items under Qualifications. Skills: Could be derived from responsibilities but maybe we can list skills like coaching, education, support, skill-building, SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices, peer-informed person-centered lens, strengths-based, trauma-informed, screening, housing needs assessments, lease negotiation, move-in coordination, independent living skills, budgeting, organization, time management, community resource navigation, hope modeling, benefits applications, housing applications, SSI/DSHS documentation, food and transportation resources, communication, home visits, office visits, phone calls, outreach, landlord relationships, agreements, supportive service plans, goal planning, discharge recommendations, shared decision-making, data collection, reporting, clinical documentation, landlord outreach tracker, public housing practices, landlord/tenant rights, housing policies, rental assistance applications, eligibility verification, productivity standards, multidisciplinary team collaboration, liaison with community housing programs, partnerships, education to community partners, interpreting housing policies, writing reports, teamwork, collaboration, mutual respect, person-centered strengths-based approach, QA, monitoring service delivery, adhering to professional/ethical standards, maintaining credentials, attending staff meetings, trainings, supervision, CPR & First Aid certification, continuing education. But that's essentially the responsibilities list. Perhaps we can avoid a separate Skills section to avoid duplication. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine Skills into Responsibilities or maybe we can have Skills as a subsection of Responsibilities? But we need to follow headings only if there is real specific content. We could omit Skills section and put skill-related content under Responsibilities. That would reduce number of sections. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. Check if any other sections like "Schedule" not present. Now we need to format. We'll produce:
