About the role
The Supportive Housing Mental Health Residential Specialist (Part-Time) plays a crucial role in providing mental health support to individuals living in supportive housing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conducting regular assessments, and ensuring that clients adhere to their treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance client care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in mental health or social services.
- Licenses and certifications such as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW are preferred but not required.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or mental health challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
