About the role
The Supported Living Instructor is responsible for providing support and supervision to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with disabilities in activities of daily living
- Ensure safety and security of individuals under supervision
- Facilitate communication between individuals and external service providers
- Document interactions and progress reports
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
- Previous experience in a similar role
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of disability rights and services
- Basic computer skills
