About the role
The Supported Living Instructor is responsible for providing daily support and supervision to individuals with disabilities in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including hygiene, medication management, and meal preparation
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and ensure safety and security of residents
- Facilitate communication between residents and external service providers
- Document resident progress and communicate with supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to pass a background check
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- First aid and CPR certification
