About the role
KenCrest is seeking Job Coaches to assist consumers with intellectual disabilities in Southeast PA.
Responsibilities
- Guide consumers by discovering their interests and skills
- Teach additional qualifications
- Communicate with local employers
- Pursue meaningful employment
- Build positive professional relationships with community employers
- Develop relationships with individuals to identify strengths and interests
- Provide routine job coaching to individuals on the job site
- Encourage personal choice and decision making
Requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities
- Interested in a mobile and independent position
- Development and implementation of work skills
- Preference given to candidates with ACRE Certification (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators)
- Valid and current driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (required)
- Driver's License, insurance and registration must be aligned with state of permanent residence
