Support Worker/Personal Assistant, Maghull AC/DP/KT

About the role

Location: L31 Area, Maghull. Reference: AC/DP/KT.

To support a 9-year-old boy who has Global Development Delay and ASD. He enjoys going on walks, visiting the park, Flip Out, Play Away, swimming, and attending SEN sessions at Masons World. Start as soon as possible.

Schedule

• Term time: 7 hours per week (after school and weekends)
• Non-term time: 12 hours per week (weekdays, a few hours each day from Wednesday to Friday)

Pay

£13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Supporting participation in activities, trips out, walks and community-based activities.
• Supporting access to Masons World and other suitable activities.
• Assisting with personal care, including washing hands, washing face and toileting.
• Ensuring the child remains safe while accessing activities and the community.
• Meals or a packed lunch will be provided.

Requirements

• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• Patient and caring.
• Able to keep the child safe.
• Treats others with dignity and respect.
• Enhanced DBS check required (cost met by employer).
• Must have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
