Support Technician Pharmacy
Job Summary
The support technician pharmacy role is responsible for pharmacy inventory management and pharmacy order fulfilment. Responsible for handling medication inventory.
Job Duties
- Performs clerical duties consistent with the work area into which the employee is hired
- Responsible for pharmacy inventory management activities including but not limited to receiving, order fulfilment, cycle counting
- Aids with filling pharmacy-related shipping, receiving, and logistics
- Prepares and delivers verified medications to patient, representative, or healthcare worker
- Maintains pharmacy by fulfilling daily operational needs
- Fulfills all HIPPA guidelines and requirements with patient information
- Maintains financial, reimbursement, and patient assistance paperwork, where applicable
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience (Preferred)
- Requires registration with PA State Board of Pharmacy
