Support Teacher

About the role

Primrose School of Champions is a Privately owned Cognia Accredited school seeking a Support Teacher for their Private Preschool serving children from infants through after-school care. The position is Full-Time with an 8-hour shift including a one-hour lunch break from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year or more of classroom teaching experience in a licensed early childhood facility is a plus
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization skills, and can multi-task
• Willing to learn to drive a 14-passenger vehicle for field trip transportation (No Special License Required)
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children
• Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children
• Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times
• Willing to learn to drive a 14-passenger vehicle for field trip transportation (No Special License Required)
• Performs other duties as assigned
