About the Role

The PK/ESE Classroom Assistant supports the teacher in implementing the Individual Education Plans (IEPs) of exceptional students. The role requires attending a minimum of six hours of PK/ESE in-service training annually, offered by the ESE department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in carrying out the requirements of students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Participate in at least six hours of annual PK/ESE in-service training provided by the ESE department.

Working Conditions

• Occasional physical exertion and/or muscular strain may be required.
• Exposure to disagreeable elements and job hazards with some possibility of injury.
