Support Staff/ Floater - Full & Part Time

Daily Responsibilities

• Crossing Guard - Helping Students cross driveway to get to the playground
• Distributing daily catered lunch to classroom
• Cleaning kitchen (including microwaves, refrigerators, etc.)
• Covering teacher lunch breaks
• Participating in staff and training meetings
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Supporting Lead teachers while assisting in the classroom
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Building teamwork

• Required experience: Child Care Experience preferred: 1 year
• Teacher Qualifications: Preferred: CDA or associates in Early Childhood Education or closely related field, Prior experience working with children, Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
