Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members deliver exceptional customer service through personal interaction.
• Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, guaranteeing a fast, friendly checkout for every guest.
• Oversee daily store associate activities, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to place items efficiently on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage store opening/closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising and inventory recovery procedures.
• Perform store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager based on store needs.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items at heights of 5-10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Frequently move across the sales floor and between the stock room and sales floor.
• Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel as required.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable laws.

Pay

$16.37 to $16.87 hourly.
