Support Lead Part Time

Responsibilities
- Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
- Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
- Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
- Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to place items quickly and efficiently on the sales floor.
- Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
- Manages opening and closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and preparing the store for smooth daily operation.
- Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, teaching store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
- Partners with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
- Performs store maintenance such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- College experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Creative thinking.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Essential Job Functions
- Frequently operate cash register.
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lb and place/remove items up to a height of 5‑10 ft.
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
- Frequently communicate with customers face‑to‑face and by telephone, and exchange accurate information with managers and coworkers.
- Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and transporting merchandise between the sales floor and stock room.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
- Must be able to interpret email and printed instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80 % of the time.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Pay
Hourly position starting at $11.50.
Schedule
Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekend, and possible overnight shifts and travel.
