About the role

This position involves interpreting and analyzing engineering, reliability, maintainability, and supply chain data to develop comprehensive support solutions. The role focuses on creating and maintaining technical documentation, evaluating operational performance, and providing recommendations on product supportability for aircraft systems and components.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability data, and supply chain information to develop support solutions and products.
  • Create support systems to meet supportability requirements.
  • Identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definitions to develop support analysis records.
  • Determine spares provisioning requirements and establish recommendations for spare parts, levels, and stocking.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems or components.
  • Evaluate aircraft or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts.
  • Support the development, analysis, collection, and storage of various system support technical data elements.
  • Participate in preparing technical documentation for aircraft systems and components.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4 years of experience in United States Air Force heavy aircraft general maintenance and/or Avionics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with authoring tools such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, or Arbortext Editor. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and parts lists.
  • General Skills: Verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with engineers, subject-matter experts, and illustrators. Time management, ability to meet deadlines, and organization skills. Ability to follow established processes and checklists.

  • U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.

  • Jet Engine Experience
  • Hydraulic Technician experience
  • Avionics Experience
