About the role

The HTF Growth & Test project team within Engines & Power Systems is seeking an Engineering Systems Support Specialist II to design, enhance, and modernize data systems and tools critical to running engine development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain engineering data management tools supporting: Hardware tracking, Test asset management, Configuration and mass property management.
  • Partner with engineering, hardware management, and procurement teams to define and implement effective hardware tracking processes.
  • Develop custom reporting and resource planning tools.
  • Administer export compliance infrastructure, ensuring alignment with export control regulations and efficient collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in: Database development, OR Systems/tools development (internal tools, engineering systems, etc.).
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • An Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of Relational databases, Data management workflows, Process automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI and/or Microsoft Project, Data reporting and analytics tools, System migrations or legacy modernization.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools or environments (such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management).
