Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Studio Management, various Directors and Leads to understand and act upon the studio’s IT‑related needs
• Perform PC hardware procurement, setup, and recycling
• Field requests for information technology services, repairs, upgrades, support, inquiries, or complaints
• Manage PC and parts inventory for the studio
• Handle user account management
• Provide IT support internally and externally to partner teams involved in game creation
• Collaborate with larger IT teams to engage on best practices and resolve technical concerns

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps
• Scripting language experience (Python, C#, or PowerShell) – Python is required
• Experience supporting multiple operating systems (bonus)
• Prior experience in a game development studio is welcome but not required

Qualifications

• Disqualifier: Candidates seeking the role as a short‑term stepping stone will not be considered
• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with a gaming team and can write scripts in Python
• A well‑written, organized resume is required; disorganized resumes will be rejected
• Intermediate experience level

Pay

The pay range for this contract position is $30.00 – $38.00 per hour. Compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent factors.

Location

This is a fully onsite contract position based in Redmond, WA.
