About the role
RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Support Contract Manager to oversee customer support contracts from inception to completion while leading a team of support specialists and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for contract margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
- Establish schedule for support tasks and carefully monitor progress toward completion.
- Accurately forecast resources for contracts.
- Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
- Present Support Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
- Responsible for financials including contract financial reporting, cost projections/cash flow reporting, monthly invoicing, and quantifying/drafting change orders.
- Enforce quality plans and monitor work for quality throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers.
- Manage large support agreements and/or multiple concurrent contracts.
- Determine causes of deviations from the support plan or schedule and recommend corrective actions.
- Negotiate Terms & Conditions with customers.
- Provide technical guidance to the support team when required.
- Enforce use of engineering standards.
- Contribute to the development of tools that facilitate contract management.
- Demonstrate excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
- Balance contract finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in contract/project management or as a technical lead.
- Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Microsoft Project.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
- Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation).
- Onsite commissioning experience.
