Support Analyst I
Description
Top Skills: Basic infrastructure experience/skills, Windows server experience - linux would be a highly preferred, Provide predictive and proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and the improved reliability of our Data Center Infrastructure and business critical applications. This includes support for workstations, servers, storage and a variety of software across IT.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and predictive monitoring, support, and problem resolution of all data center infrastructure and software environments, storage, printing, networking, and batch environments.
- Setup/modify, monitor, and track the client server production batch job flows.
- Perform Server Reboots as needed.
- Provide support internally for any technical issues requiring escalation.
- Participates on projects teams to provide support and consultation as needed.
- Aid with monthly patch deployments.
- Participates in ongoing cross-training of technical and process knowledge.
- Review and complete incident, work order, e-Form, and other IT infrastructure related requests.
- Lead and participate in major incidents and disaster recovery exercises.
- Assists in determining, planning, and implementing necessary changes to the IT infrastructure as needed.
- Develop and promote standard processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- In addition to required degree, 1-year related work experience
- In lieu of bachelor's degree(s) AND 1 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 3 year(s) related work experience
