About the role

Provide temporary substitute teaching services in Special Education at Nicholson Elementary.

Responsibilities

• Teach students according to district curriculum standards and special education guidelines.
• Implement lesson plans and activities designed by the regular teacher.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other special education staff to support student needs.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws regarding special education.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using technology tools for special education instruction.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shifts are from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
