Supply Planner

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a PSI (Production, Sales, and Inventory Plan)
• Improve processes
• Exceed company service level expectations
• Define opportunities to reduce costs
• Define inventory needs to support customer replenishment and event execution
• Obtain, analyze, and interpret supply chain relevant data from multiple sources
• Define factory orders to ensure an adequate supply of finished product for required forecasted demand
• Track factory production, inbound shipments, and customer orders to expectations
• Ensure production is on time and define solutions as failures occur
• Successfully deliver New Product through the stages of Capacity Evaluation, Ramp Up Production & In Market Delivery
• Career transfer between factories
• Maintain reports critical to business function, including financial forecast, inventory projections, and service performance
• Capture failures, root cause, corrective action, and document accountability
• Build relationships throughout supply chain to recognize and address process improvement opportunities
• Facilitate Global Capacity Planning to deliver aggressive 98% SL, and assess capacity expansion needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Operations, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience
• 2-4 years supply chain experience and related experience with retail sales, marketing, transportation, distribution, purchasing, or manufacturing
• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving ability a must
• Strong attention to detail required
• Effective project management skills and team leadership skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite applications with advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrate statistical, analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Able to develop and manage metrics that drive performance
• Strong interpersonal skills to work on a fast paced multi-tasked team
• Able to work in a process driven environment where priorities change rapidly with firm deadlines
• SAP Experience a plus
• Able to travel periodically as needed
