SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., overtime as needed including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Operates electric forklift.
- Inspects carriers (trucks and boxcars) when product arrives to ensure the carrier is safe, clean, and does not compromise product quality and/or safety of materials being received.
- Stacks and takes down packing material on slip sheets and/or pallets.
- Operates scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control.
- Delivers supplies to other departments throughout the day.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- Must possess forklift experience.
- Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Must possess basic computer skills (scanners).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
- Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing to climb up to 20 feet.
- Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
