Supply Officer (Contract)

About the role

Satair is seeking a Supply/Purchasing Officer for a temporary (contract) position based in Peachtree City, GA. The role is filled through a third‑party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America. You will join the team responsible for procuring and ensuring the availability of aircraft spare parts to meet internal and external customer demands, fulfilling orders on cost, time, and quality. Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders timely according to demand.
• Follow up with suppliers on confirmation dates, shipment dates, and tracking of goods in transit to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Ensure accuracy of purchase order data (price, quantity, certificates) to prevent future blocking points.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; participate in supplier business reviews when relevant.
• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of relevant progress and changes (COF, Planning, suppliers).
• Maintain all relevant information and changes in SAP and other appropriate information tools.
• Resolve supplier discrepancies and quality issues effectively by interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration or a similar field (highly preferred).
• 2+ years of experience working in Supply Management AND Purchasing Operations.
• Minimum intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Physical requirements: able to carry up to 30 lb intermittently; corrected hearing to respond to alarms, alerts, and warnings; ability to hear via telephone, teleconference, and work‑related conversations; able to push/pull items; able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods; able to squat/kneel as needed; able to stand for long periods; physical demands similar to a moderate activity job.
• Citizenship: must be a US Person under ITAR definition (e.g., U.S. Citizen, green‑card holder, or person covered under existing ITAR license).
