Supply Officer

About the role

Satair is seeking a Supply Officer to join our team in Peachtree City, GA. We are committed to sustainable aviation and are looking for someone who can contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely purchase order creation as per demand
• Follow-up with suppliers on confirmation dates, shipment dates, and tracking of goods in transit
• Avoid potential future blocking points by ensuring accuracy of purchase order data
• Create daily order book overview to maintain transparency on order status and actions required
• Build and maintain a solid relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Launch appropriate corrective actions on order level in case of an issue
• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on relevant progress and changes
• Manage return shipments to vendors
• Resolve supplier discrepancies and quality issues effectively
• Support our accounting team with solving the root cause for blocked invoices

Qualifications

• Preferably equipped with an Undergraduate degree in business administration or a similar field
• Professional experience ideally in Customer Service, Supply Management, or Purchasing Department
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Team player in cross-functional environment
• Improved mindset, good listener, and willing to support colleagues
• Self-driven and capable of prioritizing tasks
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, and skilled in basic IT tools

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship
• Onsite or remote: On-site
• Lifting and carrying: Able to carry up to 30 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Hearing: Corrected hearing able to respond to emergency alarms, alerts, and warnings
• Pushing/pulling/manipulation: Able to push and pull items in the workplace
• Sitting: Able to sit and work in front of a computer or other machine for extended periods of time
• Squatting/kneeling: Able to squat and kneel as needed to retrieve or place items on low shelving
• Standing: Able to stand for long periods of time
• Physical requirements similar to that of a moderate activity job
