Supply Management Planner II - Supply Management

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Management Planner II to support service parts operations. This position will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and forecast analysts to ensure on-time delivery of parts, maintain inventory levels, and drive supplier performance. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with supply chain, logistics, inventory, procurement, or planning experience, as well as recent graduates looking to start their career in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Ensure timely delivery of service parts to customers
• Track and analyze key performance metrics including Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, Backorder Cycle Time, and Past Due Orders
• Collaborate with suppliers, buyers, and forecast analysts to resolve supply issues
• Manage inventory levels and investigate discrepancies
• Support supply planning, procurement, and inventory management activities
• Analyze data and prepare reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Utilize SAP and other supply management systems to support daily operations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of planning, supply chain, inventory, logistics, procurement, or related experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to work onsite in Rock Island, IL

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience
• Supplier or vendor management experience
• Inventory, materials, or demand planning experience
• Manufacturing, distribution, or service parts experience
• Recent graduates with relevant education and strong Excel skills are encouraged to apply
