Supply/Instrument Logistics Tech

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates the Surgical Case Cart process and systems.
• Makes sure materials and inventory control are managed for Perioperative Services.
• Manages materials acquisition, receiving, and distribution, using the case cart process, perioperative automated clinical information/management system, and material management automated information system.
• Serves as a liaison between Materials Management, Sterile Processing Department, and Perioperative Services.
• Assists with Perioperative Care Tech duties as needed.
• Ensures effective and efficient management of supplies, instruments, and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Two (2) years of related experience/training in a healthcare setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school, preferred
• Knowledge of supply chain/Lean management
• Previous Scrub Tech/Case cart assembly experience
• Medical terminology knowledge, overview nationally recognized

Pay

Salary Range: $22.85 - $30.89 per hour
