Responsibilities
- Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring the availability of required hardware and materials.
- Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate material lists.
- Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before placing orders.
- Track engineering documentation and procurement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure procurement documentation and component orders are completed before production and container arrivals.
- Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage purchasing activities for production, warehouse, and installation operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, logistics, and delivery issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
- Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams.
- Support engineering changes, material substitutions, and procurement planning.
- Provide procurement expertise, material recommendations, and pricing information for projects.
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and technical documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers.
- Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor project deadlines.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide coaching and performance feedback.
- Review procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders prepared by the team.
- Support engineers with complex sourcing challenges and supplier escalations.
- Cookordination procurement activities with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize procurement workflows.
- Report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a similar engineering procurement role.
- Previous people management or team leadership experience.
- Experience working with suppliers across international markets, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
- Experience working with task management systems such as ClickUp or similar.
- Freshman Russian.
- Freshman English.

Work Location
On-site - Brooklyn, New York.
Monday-Friday.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
