About the Role
Faurecia Interior Systems (FIS) plant in Blue Springs, Missouri (North America) is looking for a VIE Production Control and Logistics Improvement Coordinator. The mission will last 18 months.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The role of the PC&L Improvement Coordinator is to manage logistics activities of a plant and deploy the Group's Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) policy. Your main missions will be to:
- Ensure plant implementation of PC&L (Production Control & Logistics) methods and tools.
- Provide plant with PC&L (Production Control & Logistics) standards: Material Information Flow Analysis (MIFA), Milk run, leveling, etc.
- Define PC&L deployment objectives on a semi-annual basis and build up an action plan in cooperation with the plant and division PC&L managers.
- Set up the means to achieve the action plan and ensure results.
- Communicate Improvement initiatives: train and coach plant employees when necessary and carry out progress workshops in accordance with the plant PC&L manager.
- Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools and provide technical support to other functions.
- Propose, in coordination with the Production System Efficiency coordinator, visual management systems in order to improve reactivity in case of problems.
- Ensure Know-how capitalization and check that standard forms are used.
- Analyze, understand, and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
- Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customer demand.
- Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
- Follow requirements established in Blue Springs Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
- Follow values established within Being Faurecia.
- Act with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as with autonomy and accountability.
- Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets.

- Experience in production in an industrial environment
