Supply Chain/Transportation and Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Brunswick Supply Chain / Transportation and Logistics Specialist assists in overseeing the warehouse under the direction of the Director of Operations. This position is crucial for managing inventory and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Researching and resolving inventory issues with assistance from the Warehouse Manager
• Establishing and maintaining an inventory cycle count program
• Re-allocating inventory on orders
• Ensuring returns are processed accurately and closed out
• Scheduling all inbound deliveries
• Directing inbound material distribution across all warehouses
• Establishing a program for evaluating and disposing of excess and obsolete (E&O) material
• Ensuring stock transfers are received in a timely manner
• Handling all special-order items
• Organizing all truck route orders and setting the following day’s delivery schedule
• E-mailing out truck delivery schedules
• Pointing of contact for the sales team to schedule residential deliveries
• Liaising between the customer service team and the warehouse team
• Acting as the gatekeeper for cut-off times
• Being the primary point of contact for add-on requests after the cut-off
• Scheduling all inbound deliveries
• Invoicing all orders

• Ability to commute/relocate to North Brunswick, NJ 08902

Pay

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule

10 hour shift / 8 hour shift
