About the role
The Supply Chain Training and Support Senior Analyst will deliver and support training programs for supply chain/replenishment planning teams, providing flexibility and backup support as needed. This position involves executing fulfillment plans, managing high-risk inventory, and coordinating training and support for new and advanced functionality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs for new and existing supply chain employees, covering new systems, enhanced functionality, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update training materials, process documentation, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
- Provide specialized systems training and support for organizational initiatives, including new DC openings, route realignments, and acquisitions.
- Serve as a liaison between system users and software development teams, facilitating requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
- Analyze performance data and provide recommendations to management to optimize key metrics such as service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
- Manage user support inquiries and help prioritize system projects and enhancements.
- Provide dedicated backup support for Replenishment Planners by executing fulfillment plans, managing high-risk/high-value inventory, and releasing purchase orders as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, DC Operations) to ensure optimal inventory flow and alignment on market conditions.
- Lead inventory management activities, including product conversions, seasonal buys, and the resolution of long/obsolete inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Business Admin or related is required.
- Five years progressive experience working with forecasting and replenishment tools, preferably within GFS Supply Chain or 2+ years superuser experience with supply chain tools used by GFS.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of various documents and correspondence.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment.
- The ability to troubleshoot and find root cause of system issues and user concerns.
- Passion for learning new technologies and applications.
- Advanced knowledge of primary operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- A good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of primary operating systems and ERP Software.
