About the Role
The Supply Chain Tech I is responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Supervisor to organize and maintain all supply rooms. This role delivers supplies, maintains par levels, fills requisitions, and responds to requests while providing optimal service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Supports the accurate maintenance of the supply inventory
- Daily restocking of shelves
- Rotates inventory
- Performs cycle counts or other inventories
- Notifies Supervisor of outdates or slow-moving inventory
- Supports and maintains inventory levels for 3rd party system or Lawson Par locations
- Provides basic troubleshooting for all automated inventory management systems
- Maintains clean and orderly stock locations
- Maintains professional image when assisting customers in person or by phone on VOCERA
- Processes shipments to stock or delivers
- Assists in packing case carts as needed
- Performs basic Lawson functions
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of 3rd party systems utilized at the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years of Supply Chain-related experience (preferred)
- Team Management and/or Project Management experience (preferred)
- Must keep abreast of current trends/changes related to technology within healthcare
