Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, verify, and distribute supplies across multiple departments
- Transport supplies, equipment, medical records, lab specimens, blood products, and oxygen cylinders throughout the hospital and adjacent facilities
- Maintain inventory levels by replenishing bedside carts, supply rooms, overhead cabinets, and operating room supplies
- Perform cycle counts, rotate inventory, remove expired products, and manage overstock
- Utilize inventory systems such as Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, and WD Mobile
- Process stock and non-stock orders, recalls, returns, and inventory discrepancies
- Clean and organize supply rooms while maintaining Joint Commission standards
- Clean patient care equipment and report defective equipment or supply shortages
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize inventory levels and improve supply workflows
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Priorities
- Experience with Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS)
- Experience with Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, or similar inventory systems
- Previous healthcare, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience
