Job Summary
Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution
Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers
Responsibilities
- Maintains and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure effective and efficient processes.
- Collaborates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain.
- Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions.
- Works with suppliers to resolve issues.
- May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements.
Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, Discipline/Major: Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred

Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with schedules and product conformity.
- Identify and enforce supplier priorities for product delivery and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address schedule delays, contractual non-compliance, and develop recovery plans.
- Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (procurement, engineering, manufacturing) to provide updates, align requirements, and resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct on-site supplier assessments to evaluate capacity, capability, and readiness for work statements.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and support procurement strategies.
- Facilitate process improvements to boost supplier performance and delivery outcomes when needed.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Travel Requirements
More than 50% travel likely.

$88,900 - $120,200
