About the role

Performs daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments or proactively supports/maintains one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users. Supports various operations, projects, program management, and service delivery initiatives. Interacts with various levels of management and professionals, colleagues, and vendors providing and disseminating information. Independently completes multiple activities pertaining to the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of various Supply Chain operations, projects, program management, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, collects, and analyzes information. Identifies opportunities, develops solutions, and leads through resolution.
  • Collaborates on performance improvement activities as indicated by outcomes in program efficiency and patient experience.
  • Responsible for distribution of analytical reports.
  • Utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials.
  • Incorporates basic knowledge of Trinity Health policies, practices, and processes to ensure quality, confidentiality, and safety are prioritized.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of departmental processes and procedures and ability to readily acquire new knowledge.
  • Researches and compiles information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives.
  • Synthesizes and analyzes data, providing detailed summaries including graphical data presentations illustrating trends and recommending practical options or solutions while considering the impact on business strategy and supporting leadership decision making.
  • Leverages program and operational data and measurements to define and demonstrate progress, ROI, and impacts.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects safe, honest, ethical, and professional behavior and safe work practices.
  • Provides supply chain related support and coordination in specialty supply areas for work assignments including, but not limited to receiving, distribution, requisitioning, ordering, and resolving supply and equipment-based acquisitions.
  • Performs routine maintenance and upkeep of one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users.
  • May perform other non-typical duties to further support end users as deemed necessary by the managing Supply Chain Leader for the assigned site.
  • Serves as front line supply chain representation/support for site-based meetings, activities, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of Supply Chain experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience in a Trinity Health facility highly desired.
  • Ability to complete additional education, training, and competency tests as required.
  • Adapt to frequent interruptions, shifting priorities, and stressful situations.
  • Attend to tasks until complete, understand and relate to complex ideas and concepts, and be able to remember multiple tasks and regimens extending over long periods of time and work on concurrent tasks/projects.
  • Continuously read small print, frequent ability to hear normal sounds and voice patterns, able to give/receive instructions and other verbal communications in-person and over the phone/computer/device/equipment assigned with some background noise.
  • Perform frequent manual dexterity activities and occasional grasping/handling.
  • Continuous attention to maintain a safe working environment and use of available personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay

Pay rate: $21.20–$29.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
