Supply Chain Sourcing Category Manager

Intralox is seeking a Sourcing Category Manager (SCM) to join the Intralox Equipment Supply Chain Team in a hybrid role blending technical expertise with supply chain leadership. Responsibilities
- Act as the "Category CEO," treating your category as your own business and driving long-term profitability through influence and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of global markets, technology, and supplier landscapes to inform category strategies.
- Drive supplier selection and specifications in alignment with Category Management Principles.
- Resolve delivery, quality, and technical challenges using root cause analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Production, Project Management, Commercial, and Product Management teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Build and execute category strategies focused on global optima, optimizing cost, lead time, capacity, and service.
- Conduct performance reviews, align expectations, and manage contracts and supplier capabilities.
- Anticipate potential pitfalls and proactively implement systems to mitigate risks or navigate challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of industry or function-relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership, planning, and team-building capabilities.
- Self-managed, team-oriented, and capable of delivering clear, impactful presentations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willing and able to travel ~30% (domestic and international).
Qualifications
- Category Management Experience.
- Industry experience in Mechanical Hardware.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract development, negotiation, and execution.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $57,400 to $163,800, representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer. The position may also be eligible for commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives based on plan terms.
