About the role

We are seeking a visionary, Technocommercial Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as our Strategic Founding Advisor. This individual will architect our market penetration strategy into a Tier-1 Global Oil & Gas Supermajor and design our internal capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess our current corporate assets and design a comprehensive roadmap to build a fully capable, compliant oil and gas supply chain division from scratch.
• Act as the primary technology advisor.
• Identify, vet, and business-case investments in advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., AI-driven demand forecasting, generative AI for contract analytics, predictive logistics, and IoT inventory tracking).
• Develop high-impact technical collateral and tailor-made supply chain solutions aligned with emerging industry trends to resolve complex client challenges.
• Actively leverage and expand professional networks to identify, map, and build strategic relationships with the target customer organization.
• Lead the definition of organizational design and job descriptions for the expanding team.
• Actively participate in interviewing, screening, and selecting top-tier supply chain talent.

Requirements

• 15+ years of end-to-end supply chain leadership within the Oil & Gas sector, with a heavy emphasis on logistics & transportation, supply chain planning, warehouse & inventory management etc.
• Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and building high-performance supply chain teams from the ground up.
• Deep, verifiable network of existing professional relationships within a Global Oil & Gas Operator's supply chain network in the Greater Houston Area.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI applications in logistics, predictive analytics, and automated sourcing platforms.
• Proven track record of creating high-quality executive pitches to build global teams (an added advantage).

Pay

Pay Range: $60-$90 per hour

Schedule

Houston is the base location, 10-15% of travel would be required outside Houston within USA or global locations like India based on the business need.
