Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator (PRN)

About the role

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply system for specific departments within the hospital. This role serves as a departmental liaison for Supply Chain Services (SCS) with key departments.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital.
• Confirms accurate receiving of products for specific departments.
• Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to the appropriate department.
• Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities.
• Dates and documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.
• Maintains records such as requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing.
• Ensures accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers.
• Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions and confirms their accuracy.
• Makes sure delivery date expectations are met and works with department staff to ensure implant information accuracy.
• Maintains inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders.
• Performs regular checks of expiration dates and handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• One year of experience in healthcare supply chain related fields preferred.
• Basic communication skills.
