Job Summary

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system. This system meets the needs of the facility's specialty area. The coordinator serves as a departmental liaison for SCS with key departments.

Responsibilities

The essential functions of the role include:

  • Building and maintaining par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital
  • Confirming accurate receiving of products for specific departments
  • Verifying hospital deliveries and delivering to the appropriate department
  • Providing resource help for expense reduction opportunities
  • Documenting monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions
  • Maintaining records like requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers
  • Processing department-specific supply and implant requisitions
  • Confirming accuracy of requisitions and monitoring delivery date expectations
  • Helping maintain inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders
  • Performing regular checks of expiration dates and handling removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Director

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Healthcare supply chain related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic communication skills
  • Experience in a related job
Required qualifications include:
  • EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
