Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage weekly production plans for the manufacturing facility based on demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Align production schedules with demand while considering product shelf life, lead times, and inventory constraints.
  • Coincide production schedules with plant operations, production, and warehouse teams to ensure feasible and efficient production execution.
  • Translate demand plans into actionable production and replenishment plans.
  • Plan and execute inter-facility product transfers to balance inventory and maintain target service levels.
  • Maintain inventory levels, aging, and shelf life to minimize waste and obsolescence.
  • Identify supply risks (e.g., shortages, capacity constraints, excess inventory) and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Support the S&OP process by providing inputs on production plans, capacity, and inventory outlook.
  • Analyze demand trends and forecast accuracy to improve planning assumptions.
  • Track and report key KPIs, including fill rate, capacity utilization, inventory turns, and production adherence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Production to align demand and supply plans.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and supply chain processes.
  • Afford assistance with cost tracking, budget-related reporting, and ad-hoc analysis as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in demand planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience with production scheduling and inventory planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of lead time, shelf life, and inventory management principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (required); experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with plant operations and business teams.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Bilingual skills in Korean preferred, but not required.

Pay

Pay range: $85K-$90K

About the Role

The Senior SCM Analyst will develop and manage production schedules, balance inventory levels, coordinate product replenishment and transfers, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure customer demand is met efficiently. The SCM Analyst will analyze demand trends, monitor key performance metrics, identify supply risks, and support S&OP and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Experience in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations is required, with food manufacturing experience considered an asset.
