Supply Chain Purchasing Specialist

Essential Job Duties

• Process assigned supplier(s) hardware, software and subscription/license purchases, orders and returns
• Update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA’s) in SAP on all outstanding purchase orders
• Manage Open Orders to ensure timely shipment and invoicing
• Clean parked/blocked invoices
• Maintain relationship with supplier partner(s)
• Maintain an accessible and responsive relationship with ScanSource sales teams
• Provide sales support as needed

Required Credentials

• High School/GED
• Organizational Skills
• Computer Skills (MS Office)

Preferred Credentials

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience (technology or distribution)
• SAP Experience
• Proficiency in foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
• Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time
• Ability to lift 10 pounds

Compensation

$45,000 Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
