About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The role involves managing the ordering and fulfillment of spares to ensure on-time delivery to data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Flexible to accommodate working across different time zones, since it’s a global team
  • Develop efficient and accurate processes/metrics for monitoring inflow of spares to achieve on-time-delivery SLAs with vendors
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, vendors to lead and drive end to end procurement and fulfillment of spares process
  • Demonstrate analytical, financial and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity exists and continuous innovation is desired
  • Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to deliver capacity to Data Centers
  • Strong track record of creative problem solving using lean principles, and the desire to create and build new processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
  • 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
  • Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies

Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel, MS-office and basic SQL
  • Ability to manage huge data sets and able to massage the data, create VLOOKUP and Pivots

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $139,100.00 USD annually.
