Supply Chain Program Manager - Facility Start-ups & Automation

About the role

As a PMO Consulting Manager, you will support and participate in the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of all aspects of assigned projects. You will organize information and requirements into an actionable plan to lead a well-executed client project and its deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated Facility Startup and Automation integration projects
• Learn about a client’s organization and tailor our proven Program Management methodology to fit their needs
• Develop a knowledge of a client’s end goals, facility design, automation, systems, organizational culture, and team functioning
• Manage the development of descriptions of operations, engineered designs, business requirements documents, and other integration documents as needed
• Create project execution documentation including project plans, project charters, and timelines
• Lead the creation of ongoing project management documentation including status reports, risk logs, issue logs, roles / responsibilities, and meeting minutes
• Create additional project tools as needed, and as requested by our clients, to best execute our customer’s project within their context
• Utilize industry standards and best practices to fill knowledge gaps and become a trusted advisor to our clients
• Support client and strategic communication related to assigned projects and execute communication to all levels of a client’s organization
• Resolve project issues, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and manage change requests as they arise
• Utilize the larger PMO team and enVista organization to solve issues and provide real-time project feedback
• Create and maintain the project communication cadence to ensure a high level of project comfort to all project stakeholders
• Build consensus among multiple workstream leads, relative to project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution
• Develop and coordinate work plans, assign duties, manage resource workload, and define responsibilities within the project team
• Build relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and various project members to ensure specified business needs are met
• Aid in post-implementation analysis to ensure requirements are fulfilled and define lessons learned for continuous improvement
• Perform internal project management duties related to resource utilization, revenue projection, and ongoing project maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of Project Management experience executing complex projects
• Experience managing complex projects that include multiple workstreams
• An understanding of the tasks necessary to startup a new distribution center
• Basic knowledge of construction management and architectural drawings
• A knowledge of distribution center automation and integration
• A basic understanding of key distribution systems and their integration including WMS, WCS, WES, TMS, LMS, OMS, BI, and other emerging systems
• The ability to work within ambiguous situations to create executable plans
• The ability to deconstruct existing project plans and reconstruct for new projects
• A mindset of personal, professional, team, and organizational accountability
• A willingness and desire to never stop learning and growing
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to quickly synthesize information
• The ability to establish solid relationships with clients and project teams

• Leverage Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience (desirable)
• Expert knowledge on utilizing SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint
