Supply Chain Product Planner

The Supply Chain Product Planner ensures end-to-end supply chain planning for a set of rare disease products along a 0-to-3-year horizon, covering both Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) horizons. You will ensure market demand is covered by available supply to provide timely, high-quality, and cost-effective medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Planning & Execution: Balance product demand and supply, remediate gaps across 0-3 months (S&OE) and 4-36 months (IBP) horizons. Responsible for net demand propagation, validation, and product deployment plans in Kinaxis.
  • Master Data & Planning Parameters: Create and maintain accurate product-related master data and planning parameters in Kinaxis, aligned with End-to-End Product Leader’s strategy. Sole accountability for master data values, documentation of determination methods, and adherence to governance.
  • Contribute to Master Data continuous improvement in coordination with Master Data Stewards and Data & Process Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with business rules in the M&S Master Data Playbook and review values when specified triggers occur.
  • IBP (monthly) and S&OE (weekly) cycles: Collaborate with key stakeholders (Markets Supply Chain, Global Supply Planning, Global Logistics, Franchise, Regulatory, Finance) in the standard planning and execution decision loop.
  • Product Strategy Support: Assist in product-driven strategic and budget planning, provide data-driven insights for long-term decisions, and incorporate strategic changes into planning systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning (Demand planning, Supply chain management, inventory), E2E supply chain planning, or related fields.
  • Strong background in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of building plans, aligning stakeholders, and driving decision-making.
  • Proficient with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, dVSM, Plai).
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing quality systems and regulatory submissions process.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environments (cross-functional and multi-location stakeholder management).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or Logistics.
  • Advanced understanding and experience with Integrated Business Planning and Sales & Operations Execution processes.
  • APICS certification is an asset.
  • Experience working with financials and budgeting.
