As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in global defense, sustainment, modernization, and mission readiness. Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of services, specialized materials, and/or equipment
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, perform price/cost analysis, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts
• Ensure appropriate documentation is provided so that proper receipt is recorded
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
• Participate with program functional areas to coordinate subcontract funding, invoice processing, and program reviews
• Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-users
• Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules in conjunction with the quality organization
• Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations
• Manage performance of subcontracts, ensure compliance with all public law requirements, company policies, and import/export regulations
• Utilize process tools such as Lean Six Sigma with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Manage and develop strategic/key suppliers; review and approve supplier payments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; OR 1+ year of relevant experience with a master’s degree
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create spreadsheets, documents, and presentations
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior government or aerospace procurement/buying experience
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
• Knowledge of CPSR and government audits
• Experience with aircraft maintenance activities under U.S. Government prime contracts, including spares procurement and movement
• Import/Export (ITAR) experience for movement of materials and technology
• SAP experience

Pay

Primary salary range: $62,700 – $94,100. The range represents a general guideline; base salary offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
