About the role

We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Supply Chain Process Excellence Lead within our North America Supply Chain team focused on leading the creation and governance of Standards, Processes, procedures and KPIs with a regional view. This roll will also lead the embedment of system and processes within their Region to ensure compliance, they identify, plan and develop continuous improvement opportunities. This role plays an integral part in developing, tracking and reporting on strategic initiatives aligned to organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drives embedment of global system and processes within the Region.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for the Regional Supply Chain teams on Group Standards, processes and procedures and their application within the Region
  • Works to identify gaps in supply chain processes and drive improvements
  • Makes sure to monitor, track and report performance of Supply Chain KPI
  • Works closely with supply chain teams to understand variance reasons of performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvements
  • Develops reporting and presentations aligned to leadership requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years experience post professional qualification.
  • Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships.
  • Financial acumen & budgeting experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be open to reporting to the Centennial office at least three days a week.
  • Managing at least one direct report
  • Minimal travel, up to 10%, as needed

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

$103,125 - $120,000 USD per year
